Who we are

Capsule and this website are made by Ships to You Software, a subsidiary of DAC Creative Design (“we”). Questions about privacy go to getcapsule@daccreativedesign.com.

This website

If you join the early-access list, we keep your email address so we can tell you when Capsule launches. It's stored with our email provider, Resend, and used for nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.

The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for a short time to run and protect the site.

The Capsule app

Capsule keeps your captures, their context files, the text read from them and your settings on your PC. It doesn't send them to us. A capture leaves your PC only when you send it somewhere: pasting it into an AI app, copying it, or syncing it to a cloud drive you chose.

If you turn on answers inside Capsule, the captures and questions you send go straight from your PC to Anthropic using your own API key, under Anthropic's terms. Capsule asks before a capture first goes out and covers anything that looks like a secret just before sending. Your key is kept in Windows' Credential Manager.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Big changes go to the early-access list first.
